The National Animal Supplement Council is a nonprofit industry group dedicated to protecting and enhancing the health of companion animals and horses throughout the U.S. The NASC was formed in 2001 when a complicated and erratic regulatory environment threatened the multibillion-dollar animal supplement industry.
Their objective is to, engage the regulatory agencies, at both the State and Federal levels and establish a system of regulatory oversight that is fair, reasonable, responsible, consistent and transparent.
The council works constructively and cooperatively with the Food & Drug Administration, Center for Veterinary Medicine (FDA/CVM), many other State Regulators.
Look for their seal, your pet will thank you.
